FAQ

What happens if someone in my group can't make it on the day?
Full payment is required to confirm your booking, and places are non-refundable and non-transferable. If a player doesn't show up on the day, their prepayment and paintballs will unfortunately be forfeited. We recommend ensuring everyone can attend before completing your booking, and feel free to call us on 01342 612357 if you have any concerns ahead of your session.

What should I wear?
We provide camouflage overalls and body armour, so your own clothes will be well protected underneath. We recommend wearing comfortable, layered clothing suitable for the weather, and sturdy closed-toe footwear with ankle support — ideally boots or old trainers. Flip-flops, crocs and high heels are not permitted on site.

What's included in my session price?
Your session fee covers 3 hours of action-packed paintball across 3 unique game zones (Prison Break, Nuclear Warfare & Border Force), full use of our FT50 paintball marker, protective full-face goggles, camouflage overalls, body armour, and a full safety briefing from our marshals. Paintballs are purchased separately on the day.

Can I bring my own paintballs or equipment?
For safety and consistency, only paintballs supplied by SKS Paintball on the day can be used — any brought from outside will be confiscated. You're welcome to wear your own paintball-specific goggles (unmodified), but all other equipment is provided as part of your session.

Does it hurt?Is paintball safe?
Paintball does involve a mild sting when hit, but with our full-face goggles, padded body armour and overalls, you're well protected. Every player receives a thorough safety briefing before play begins, and our marshals are on the field throughout. Most people barely notice the impact once the adrenaline kicks in!

Do you cater for birthday parties, stag/hen dos and group events?
Absolutely — paintball is perfect for it! We regularly host birthdays, stag and hen parties, team-building days, school groups and more. Sessions can be booked as morning or afternoon slots, and we recommend booking at least two weeks in advance to secure your preferred date, especially at weekends.

What age do you need to be to play paintball at SKS?
Standard paintball at SKS is open to players aged 10 and over. For younger adventurers aged 7+, we also offer Mini Paintball — a lower-impact version using smaller, lighter markers and softer paintballs, perfect for younger players to enjoy the action safely.
